Thats true.Its all about where you draw the line.Do you fix the problem then sell,or do you try and sell with the problem??? or do you just keep going year afer year putting more and more money to it as it just ant worth selling because of market values??

Thats if you can sell it.There are alot of second hand freelanders on the market so the price is getting lower and lower.No money to be had when parting with a hippo.Just think about the saveings you will make,no more big bills.

Just an update.The whine is getting loader and loader now,its doing it in all gears when under load as well as when coasting.Looks like xmass is off this year kids!!!!:(

I dont know what it is called but it is like a flat clip that pushes over the hole to reduce the holes diameter.Mine is missing too so would love to know where you can get them.
