I would put in an inline glass bowel filter if i ran a diesel it prolongs the life of your standard filter and you can see and clean out any crap build up they are about the £25 mark

them red hand pumps in the link are usually found in 40 gallon oil drums and every one you see will have the top covered in oil that ellec pump is a oil slick waiting to happen that pump that JM posted looks to be your best bet , it screws into your drum and can pump straight int wot you want

out of interest after fitting your new MAF did you have to disconect the battery for a while to reset the engine ECU After reading stuff on here a faulty engine sensor wot the ECU takes info from will put the ecu into limp mode , which yours may have been in with it over fueling I haven't...
