I had one corrode and break, I took it off, and could see that the cable and nipples were fine, just the eye bolt that had corroded. I crimped new fittings on the end of the original cable and bobs your uncle - repaired for less than £1.

Well I said I would feed back, I tried silicone 6mm with 4mm inner, just too slack, fuel still leaking out. Have temporary fixed with tube from my brake bleeder kit. Need to try 3mm inner pipe next.

Can anyone suggest where I can get new pipes for the cross over between injectors that is suitable for biodiesel? mine are all soft (oh er missus) and leaving puddles of fuel wherever I park.:mad: ordinary rubber pipe does not seem to last, the original pipes seem a bit solid with age but...

just a thought, if I can't get the pipe off the filter housing, if I remove the filter and air line the pipe from the tank side, should that be able to clear it or is there something in the way?

Thanks for the responses, to recap, I am doing full titration, to remove excess methanol and other waste I wash the fuel until not only no soap, but the water is totally clean then run on drying cycle for 2 hours. (goldenray 50 ltre unit) I checked that the BMW engine with Bosche pumps work...
