Well a quick update i have checked and checked the timing and it is spot on so i asked the local garage to have a quick look and they said it was fine but it still wouldnt start. so i have pulled the head off again but i cant find anything wrong. :scratching_chin: so i have ordered a new head...

leak off pipes i take it you mean the ones for the fuel return? would that cause a problem apart from leak? im not sure on the smoke i will have to check that.

i have just fitted a new water pump ect all was well untill i went to put the bottom rad hose back on and i can just about get the hose on but there is no way i could get a clip on as its so tight to the cam belt cover. im sure this isnt wright? any idears.:)

Well i decided it was time to sort out my oil and water leak today so decided to do the cam belt while i had the water pump off all went to plan so i moved on to the oil. It was coming from the front of the head gasket so i pulled the head off thinking that i would just clean it all up fit new...

my 90 has no rear seats or windows but i still pay £112 for 6 months tax, which i think is the same as a car? how much do you pay?

Hi i have just put some discovery boost alloy wheels on my defender and the only problem i have is i can not fit the centers? can i get some caps fron defender wheels or will i just have to put up with having no center caps :doh:

i was told of a 98 (r reg) defender truck top last night by a friend. it was a one owner from new and the bloke wanted 2k for it. no surprise it was gone already but it gos to show they are out there if your very quick

welded up a hole in the passinger footwell to stop the misses moaning about getting wet every time i drive through puddles :)
