I'd replace both personally as if one is knackered the other one which has done exactly the same miles as the failed one will be on its way out too.

Is it possible (easy) to swap a Defender LT77 box with a Disco box. I'd have both boxes at the same time to swap bits over if needed. Its just I'm breaking my 200TDi Disco and am wondering if its worth keeping the box. Cheers, Paddy

Beefed up my recent rear crossmember repair so I'll feel confident towing 3 tonnes and the one other bit of welding the chassis need for MoT and the wee repair to the body support under the rear seats

Today I fitted my new crossmember and roughly painted the back body before replacing the rear cappings All in all I'm pretty happy with what I've achieved today :)

My new crossmember fits the back of my 110 perfectly. I cut the old one off yesterday and when I slipped the new one over the cut chassis legs and did up the bolts it all fits. I've heard heaps of horror stories of crossmembers not fitting and needing heaps of fettling to make fit. What...

Well my 110 CSW might even be done for the end of June now!!! :D Recently at work I "remanufactured" the filler neck so its now indestructible lol I've also removed the rear corner cappings and etch primed them fitted new wipac lights And my new rear crossmember has arrived too...

I'm in the process of buying a new fuel tank for my '87 110. The current tank leaks like a sieve but the bash plate/under tray is fine. How should it be attached to the tank? It won't move an inch. Is it just seam sealer'd on. I'm thinking If I cut the tank open around it then roast it up it...

I'm ripping out the LPG on my 110 CSW so I can make it a 12 seater again and was wondering what these seats are from (I'm guessing a 90 CSW) The fabric matches the rest of the interior that's why I guessed a 90. Also roughly how much would they be worth as I'll be sticking them on evil...
