Right by trial and error reverse works lol It's crossed my mind that I've forgotten where the fuel pump connects to the loom :doh: is it in the big bundle of wires on the rear right hand side?

So it would seem the missing wiring is reverse light, fuel pump (no tank fitted yet lol) and wiper related bits. Now I need to figure out ho they're meant to connect to each other lol. If anyone has a pic of their 2.5 petrol bulkhead loom that would be great!!!

On my 200tdi disco it developed a really irritating rattle at about 55-60mph. Changed engine mounts and hunted hight and low for it. Eventually it turned out to be the screen wash bottle rattling off the bulkhead!!!

I got one slightly bigger than that one from maplin a good few years ago (the same make too) for about £20. I needed a proper automotive one that did dwell and tach for setting timing properly. Halfrauds sell the same one made and branded uni-t but in a Gunsons box for £50!! Bloody rip off

Its 235 85R16's and it works out at £147 each delivered. I think I'll try and get a couple more steel Disco 1 wheels as I already have a couple sitting around.

Doh!!! Lol I'll rephrase that, are the modular £25 a pop wheels okay or would I be better off finding either Disco, Wolf or just bog standard Defender ones?

I'm looking into new boots for the 'fender and have narrowed it down to a choice between a wheel/tyre package for the Insa Turbo Saharas or just the BF Goodrich Mud Terrains for basically the same money (£580 delivered) What would be the better tyre?

I've got an '87 110 CSW with the absolutely pants 2.5 petrol motor. I'll be grafting in my 200tdi disco motor shortly. The disco was on an LT77 box will it be an LT77 in the defender? I know the transfer boxes are different ratios but is the box geared the same? Cheers, Paddy

Standard calipers won't fit. The vented calipers have a spacer between the 2 sides thats about 1/2" thick. Other than that they're exactly the same as my Disco 200tdi ended up with the later calipers but with the spacers removed on solid discs. Paddy
