Would be my thoughts to but why would it happen twice after I'd pumped the lift pump? :confused: I also replaced starter 6 months ago, when that was dead it would click when you tried to start but I never needed to disconnect and reconnect the battery to be able to try and start again.

Just thought I would update this. It was the voltage reg. One of the brushes looked like it had snapped off! Other was very worn. Alt was brand new 6 months ago and I'd be surprised if I have covered 2k miles in that time. So strange for it to go so quickly.

My battery is dead as brushes on voltage reg worn out after 6 months/2k miles! Replaced that and batt light would suggest alt now working. Have tried today to jump start with a fully charged jump pack. Turns over fine but won't start. I then noticed my fuel tank is leaking :mad: So thought...

By the way, I think it other way around. CCA are rated at 0F where as MCA (marine) is 32F. Remember reading somwhere that a MCA rating is 1 third higher than what the CCA rating would be.

Not quite, you can't stick a 205 on the same rim as a 325 just cos they are both 16". Depends on the width of the rim as 1 is skinny and other wide.... I switched to 265s from 235s and used same rim, need to be a min of 7.5" wide for 265s some people would say 8" to be safe though
