my mates 2001 4.6 will idle all day long temp is fine if you drive it it gets hot but he had a sniffer test done and it passed he is going to france in 2 days in the car can anyone please help

how much fluid should you put into an empty gearbox sump

it was a bit dodgy before and yes filled with fluid till it come from the overflow the started the engine went through the gears then into park engine running then put fluid in till it came out of filler hole it seems better when cold :confused:

some help needed my 2001 dhse is changing gear perfect right up the box with a very light foot but if you put your foot down it seems to bang into second but all other gears are fine gearbox filter just done and 5 litres of fluid put into the sump any ideas please

he read the code on the ecu before removing it then when fitted to the other car he put the 4 digit code into the becm i hope that explains what needs to be done. :confused::confused::confused:
