Steering... try a search. there are lots of things it could be from bushes or shocks or bearings or pivots etc... try the free/cheap options first ... adjust the pivot bearings. Is your steering wheel sloppy? can you turn it a bit before it takes up the slack? if so look for steering box...

Had exactly that thought for the steering arm behind the axle... for tracking adjustment... will have to be careful of the steering damper mount though I think. And I'll have to un-sieze the adjustment tubes first!

I get that intermitently... usually if it's been stood unused for a few days... also happened half way down Stanage Edge... that made steering hard work!... I can go for months and then suddenly no fluid... I just keep a bottle of 'juice' in the back all the time just in case.

I'd see how bad it gets over the next week or so... mine's much oilier than that but I check the diff oil level regular and it don't drop... got the seals just can't be arsed!

Best check for any supplier... look at the liquid, is it clear?... yes it's a yellowy colour but is it misty or clear? then mix a 50/50 amount water and bio (say 250ml each) and shake the hell out of it and let it settle. The water should be as clear as it went in... if not it has soap...

I think the 300 is more desireable with the oblong lights, however there are some mechanical differences, the 300 has an EGR which most people take off but the 200 doesn't, I think the 300 has more horse power... personal pref really... just makesure you check the usual places for rust... Rear...

The workshop manuals all measure with the bearings removed and drive shafts disconnected, there was one I followed from aomeone on another site which was a higher resistance because it left the bearings and driveshafts connected... I found it to work just fine... stopped the wandering.
