On that age have a good go with the tapping stick on the chassis, there were some that didnt have the right anti corrosion on them. Just saw one with a lee and lance newspaper and filler job on the main rails.

I was thinking of the same thing, so i've sold my 90 (200 tdi) and gone for a 110 TD5. If you can afford it then it is worlds better than tdi, especially if you do lots of miles.
