    Stainless Fixings..where to buy?

Get all my stuff off fleabay. Have a fav seller whose website links into it. eBay UK Shop - stainless allen head bolts: Anodised, Tek Hardware, UNF UNC does good deals for multiple items and good free postage on small stuff if you only need a couple of nuts and bolts

UK to OZ - Vehicle Familiarisation

If you are determined to use a 110 csw (i won't argue, i love mine) The mantec site is good for expedition stuff. www.mantec.co.uk I really like the racking in the back.

4x4 indoor show at Donnington on Sunday, great show for vehicle prep for long trips. Might give more ideas than problems solved though lol :-0

UK to OZ - Vehicle Familiarisation

All those vehicles are good, but most people overload or spec up machines way beyond what they need. Load up your tent and cooker, go camping in Scotland for a week and see what you missed, then you'll know what you REALLY need, probably less than half of what you thought.

    New winch

Was looking at a winch too, a nice 12000lbs one on ebay. Looked at the warranty details and it says no warranty if used off road!!! Have checked with the seller as it seems like a good offer.

A Bar on Air Con Defender

Hey all, Want to put an A bar on for my spot lights but have to have the different one cos of the air con getting in the way so has to clamp around the bumper rather than bolt on the top. Any one know of a bar to bolt on the top but allow for the bigger grill?

Safari-Equip - anyone try their steering guards??

Craddocks own, about 80 quid but its tough as hell, includes recovery points and they give you d rings for it too.

    uprated intercoolers and snorkals???

Some can restrict the flow slightly, but on the "Safari" type, you can actually get a ram air effect due to its shape, and force more air in.

    Motoring Org.'s Not recoving 4x4

Acording to Adrian Flux, the policy i have (breakdown and damage) covers me for green lanes and pay and play sites. Was tested recently by someone at the local quarry site, he was recovered and the insurance paid out for the damage (rolled)

    Questions from a novice

Good quality cleaner and a good stiff brush is best way, wouldn't try to get all oil and grease off, it does some good.

    roof tent

Always on the look out for one, but they seem to go for silly money, even the knackered ones. Started on a project to make my own :-)
