Hi all was thinking about going up Salisbury plains with my rangie and a couple others but never been there before.How do you get maps of which lanes you can drive etc and is it open to the public i.e all year round as i know its military ground. Any info would be great cheers chaps.

You were right classic kev. Went to the garage and they pretty muched confirmed it on the spot. New calliper and pads fiited and im a £160 lighter :o. I was gunna have them all done but was told others seem ok.

Well i thought i might just service the callipers rather than buying new callipers. Whats your way of getting the seals in.

Just been out and had a look around and the back wheel is soaked in brake fluid. I checked the brake pipe going in to the calibre and seems tight. Seems to be leaking in side the calibre

Cheers guys. Will go and have a tinker tomorrow. Date of first reg is 20/09/1990 and is a vogue se which i thought had all the mod cons at the time. Looks like the tyre has only been rubbing recently and tyres have definatley been on there for a while. Thanks again for the help will keep me busy.

Just what i needed to hear :(. Think it might be the pump because when you push the pedal you can hear air blowing/escaping. Any thoughts about the tyre touching the radius arm only on passenger side though. cheers peeps

Hi again :D. Just went out in my rangie to the shops as i was pulling in to the car park touched the brakes and nothing. Pedal seems to have lost pressure but now and again it feels like its building up pressure but then goes again had to limp home using the hand brake. Any ideas on what this...

yea fingers crossed it helps would of thought it would.

Just had suspension checked at local garage the blokes a keen offroader himself and doesnt seem to think an anti roll bar will be needed as he seems to think the springs are either worn out or the wrong way round. Also the rear suspension is on 2" spacers instead of sat on the actual axle so its...

Yea paint has come off. Mine is lifted i think 2" and sits on terrfirma springs and shocks but looks like its listing on front and back on passenger side. Mine gets body roll almost in a straight line doing no more than 20 mph. Its very unbalanced even at low speeds so hopefully stiffer springs...

What are the springs marked with im guessing letters as was going to check mine. Which also has a slight list.

So if the rangie has been lifted i will have to get springs to suit how do i find out how much its been lifted by many thanks

So if the anti roll bar wasnt an original fitment can one be fitted or would heavy duty springs help. The rangie feels like its gunna topple over even on a straight road no corners needed lol. Seems very unbalanced

So why would there be no pick up points i thought they where actually part of the axle. How much would this cost to have put right rougly.

So is the anti roll bar to blame. Is it a big expensive job.

Belive it was done before the previous owner bought the rangie. It is bad to the point where your almost losing control. I belive the coils are the same brand as the shocks. I was also told that the axle or something on the axle was changed. While take pic.
