What's the flashing light next to the mileometer? It looks like a backwards y I comes and goes but today there was a warning tone before start up. I thought it was because I left lights on but I didn't Cheers

Just an update Air flow meter was swapped, no change. Ecu terminals fine Mechanic said to change the fuel pump as the diagnostic tool cannot pick up lack of pressure on it, as its an in tank type

Il see what the man at garage says Il check for oil when I'm on lunch tomo, shall I pull the ecu out and unplug the earth from battery? Whats the best stuff to get rid? I got turps or MEK at work that should do it I could clean the maf couldn't I with electrical cleaner but I have none ATM

Sorry, it's not just third, I only tend to rev higher from third onwards It's over 3000rpm ish I unplugged the lead to the maf, it made no difference, meaning that's not the culprit It's booked into garage tomorrow so hopefully they will have an idea

Above 40mph It's random, sometimes it's fine sometimes it's a pig Started happening today after a 12 mile journey It's like a misfire
