Hi all, when I got my Disco the EGR system had been removed, I am now hearing a hissing sound coming from this module (right wing near air filter). It has 3 pipes and 2 are broken off any advice on this as I believe one goes to the brake servo pump? Thanks Steve

I have been reading this with a lot of enjoyment over the last couple of months - well done it looks awesome !

I eventually ran a new pipe through as there is enough space and cut as much of the old one out as I could. I could not budge the other one. Drain pipe now functioning:) and no more leak!

Evening all, Water leaking everywhere so removed headlining (recently repaired) from my Discovery 1 and found that the front passenger side drain pipe was disconnected. The problem is that the pipe is too short to reach the plug on the drain and the pipe will not move. It seems to be stuck in...

Put the sump on last night (carefully) and left loctite sealant to sure for 24 hours. Just done 70km and not a drop of oil in sight so far. Thanks for the advice

I can see oil actually weeping out at the rearmost centre bolt. I recently put in a new head , rings , bearings etc and was able to get sump out easily with everything stripped. I probably stuffed up the gasket sealer when I was putting it back in though.

Thanks James If I just jack up the chassis in the front would that give enough room without taking off ARB ?

Hi all, Need to remove sump and reseal as it is leaking at the rear bolts. What do I need to remove to be able to get it out? Anything special to be aware of if removing ARB etc?
