I'm thinking of just dissconnecting the air con, it doesn't work anyway. Has anyone done this ? How much of the system did you take out/ leave in ?

I've had the bilsteins on my disco for 15000 miles now and can't fult them. Make a land rover feel like a car on the road.

I could but I'm up in Scotland and the local motor factors are 35 miles away and once I've got the o rings out the discovery will not be driveable. The joys !!!

Hi. I need to get the o rings that are on the pipes that go into the heater matrix on a 300 tdi discovery but I can't find them any were. I've tryed Paddocks Craddocks and eBay. Maybe I'm just not serching for the right thing but they don't seem to be listed. Any ideas ? Even the part number...

Hi. I've got a 96 300 tdi disco with a leak ( nothing new there ). It's in the drivers foot well, it's aslo started to lose coolant so I'm thinking it must be the heater matrix. The thing is that my car has air con, the haynes manual just says don't do this job on an air con car, take it to...

Did you slacken off the tensioner and then rension it back up and check that the timing pins still fit in ? If you didn't then that can knock the timing out. Some instructions leave that out but you do need to do it. Just an idea mate ! Mudynaty

I've got these springs and they are great. Get very good shockers though, I've got bilstein,s, or the ride will be harsh. I'm a window cleaner and have a 200 liter tank of water in the back of my disco and it copes with that no problem. Mudynaty.

My dads had the same thing with his disco. He's taken them off now. Put two KC's on the front, that all the light you will ever need. Mudynaty.
