Half swapped the rear view mirror, put it in but didn't put the headlining back in. Took the back wheel off to try and grind the mudflaps off with a dremel but gave up. It's too sunny and drinking cider while doing it made think, why bother? So I retired in doors with more alcohols.

Make sure all the sensors are pushed in properly and clean the contacts, also look up the paper clip test to work out exactly what is wrong if that doesn't help.

The best things I've done so far are blank the EGR and put a straight through de-cat exhaust on. Don't know how much the EGR thing even does. It sounds good and and feels more powerful. The other stuff has just been repairs really.

My favourite road in Scotland is the Duke's pass between Aberfoyle and Callander, there's a forestry drive in the middle of it but I've never tried it, I might soon for a day out. We don't have lanes as such up here but the main roads are often challenging enough. :o

Do the brake callipers have to be fitted in pairs, like replace both front ones or just as needed if one is faulty?
