spotlight wiring - where does stuff go?!

hi sorry only just seen this, nah it's just the radio and i'm not that bothered about it doing it, it's probably a bad earth somewhere. problem i have now is that one spotlight has stopped working completely, tried new bulb, re-wired it with better wire and cleaner connections but still dead...

    rear spotlight installation

Hi everyone. I want to install a rear work lamp type thing, switched on by the reverse light switch as the current one is **** poor and barely lights anything up. I was going to ask if anyone could recommend a decent light-spreading, not too dear worklamp? I plan to get a gutter clip and...

    tyre (over)inflation

i use a tyre pressure gauge (old style one like a pen) and the gauge on the compressor but i think that's a bit inaccurate. 1.9 bar front 2.4 bar rear rear tyres are kingpin pathfinder remoulds and fronts are toyo "open country"

    tyre (over)inflation

hahaha sorry, let me cross your palm with silver. they're regular 205/r16s, i have two AT kingpins at the back and more roady tyres at the front

    tyre (over)inflation

hi everyone, i recently topped up my tyres to the reccommended PSI but they look almost flat. how much further can i inflate them, and does having almost flat tyres provide much benefit other than giving more grip anyway? any answers would be much appreciated, ive looked around but can't...

rear door rattles when spare wheel mounted

hi all, i've had a look around and can't seem to find a similar question but would have thought it'd be a common problem. whenever i have my spare wheel on the rear carrier (normally in the back unless i have passengers) it shakes and rattles the whole door whenever i go over the slightest...

    subwoofer advice needed

thanks for all your replies, i'm not sure if i knew what a sub was. i assumed that an amp was part of a sub, not something separate. what i'm looking for is something to up the bass a bit, i don't wanna **** around with a DJ Dickhead corsa soundsystem which will require me to use 2 truck...

    subwoofer advice needed

hi all, I'm looking to mount a subwoofer in my defender swb van. i already have a stereo and speakers but the sound isn't great and there's no bass. basically, i need to find out -do they need to be independently powered? the radio (powered from ciggy lighter feed) already cuts out for...

spotlight wiring - where does stuff go?!

hi again everyone, thanks for all the help :) we did the job, they really help the crappy stock headlights. there's a (bad) picture attached. Re the main beam feed, i got the soldering iron out (we did have one) and just stuck the wire from the terminal into the headlight wire clip, dropped a...

what is this plug? (from sidelight wire)

Hi people, i was wondering what the socket thing pictured in the attached photo is. I have had a look around the forum and the net in general but I couldn't find anything. It's coming out of the thick strip of wires going from to the right hand side front lights and has 2 brown wires with...
