There's an air compressor unit mounted to the outside of the chassis rail under the passenger side for the air bags, if it's still there.

Want to do this to mine. Don't suppose you could post more detailed pictures such as where you located the brackets on the inner wings? And what struts did you use?

Some small updates: The fuel gauge started working randomly but it's very erratic and never reads more than half full. It still sometimes doesn't work at all. Had a wild camping weekend with the Shetland Land Rover Club last weekend and slept on the back of the Disco. Just threw a big tarp...

You can get a fair amount of flex on a Disco with ARBs still in place. This has standard wheels and tyres and a 2" lift so nothing extreme. Both back wheels still on the ground.

And stop calling it a Jeep.

Removing the prop shouldn't stop it driving in front wheel drive. If it drives with the prop connected then the centre diff is taking up all the drive and you have a problem with your gearbox. You'd probably get better help posting in the correct forum though...

I've started adding stuff that I want now, starting with a roof rack. This rack was actually on the Disco when I bought it but it was put on my daily as that didn't have one. The PO hacked it about a bit to put a roof tent on it so the tubular side rail was short on one side where it had been...

So, now it's had a proper drive there are a couple of small problems that need sorting: 1. Fuel gauge isn't working. Found that out after I filled up. Still showing empty with fuel light on. 2. Steering bar needs slight adjustment so the steering wheel sits straight. It's ever so slightly right...

No pictures, just good news. MOT passed today!! Had my first "that's cool as feck" comment today while filling up at the MOT station too. Woohoo! I'm pleased as punch. Mind, as with all projects like this, it's never really going to be finished. Got loads more planned for it.

I had the same problem with mine. Fitted brand new hubs and one of them turned out to be faulty, it wasn't the sensor. Went through three brand new sensors before replacing hub/sensor. Problem solved.
