I'm nearing my year long rebuild of the Disco, and have so far removed both the dicky seats, and the longer of the 2 bench seats in the back, now leaving me with just the one in the back and the 2 in the front. On reading the DVLA site, they say I need to inform them of the changes. Question...

In the near future I will be adding myself to the list, I'm just down the road from Tunbridge wells, so would be able to cover a fair bit of kent as well as east sussex. But at the moment my wheels no turn! So for now, Kent will have to remain the back of beyond!

I use my pressure washer with a water butt. It works fine. I just pop up the garage first to use theirs to get the really nasty stuff off first!:D

Na, now you can drive over anything, no drive needed. So you can spend the pennies you save not doing that on a winch, roof rack, rock sliders, etc, etc :D That's how economics works,you know! (I think):D:D

I'd avoid tarmac on it, cos you'll be stung for any new water run off you create by the water companies, and its not cheap. Cheaper option and better by far is just putting mot type 1 down. Self drains, never turns to sheet ice in winter, way cheaper, always get traction on it, really hard...

every time with mine i need to get the front on the ramps or park it up a hill, then run the engine for a while, and eventually the air lock goes. Its always the heater matrix on mine. Got to change the angle of the engine enough for it to clear. Try it. lots easier than refitting a new head...

could you not just hook up an alarm/light to the temp gauge anyway? Reaches a certain point and alarm goes off? It'd save you watching the temp like a hawk and achieve the same result.
