If the tyres are worn unevenly then they can cause a horendous amount of noise. . Mine did that, I initially thought the diff was knackered. Turned out to be the tyres. The tyres had a stepping effect on the tread. I put a new set on and it was quiet as ya likes :D

Hi peeps The Hippo's is in for oil leak repairs. Gearbox out jobbie unfortunately. While its outa action I was toyin' with the idea of gettin some sliders and a new sump guard. Any one know where I might acquire these items? Any ideas how much please? Regards PJ:D
