Hey chaps, 1984 s3 diesel, ive noticed the engine burning/using oil in some way or another, i realised today its not been checked for 2 or 3 weeks, looked today, quite far below the low marker, i would have thought with low oil the oil pressure alarm light would have came on? Also going to look...

A previous owner fitted Rocky Mountains on mine, got to say they are way more comfy than the standard leaf springs, also she sits quite well on them, in previous series the back end always sagged and it looked uneven etc, but got to say they look the biz ! Can't remenber how much they would cost...

Go to aviva van insurance, mine was £1200 ish fully comp with a couple add ons, dads was a named driver, took off about £50 from memory :)

I'm a similar boat to you shenton, I've got a standard series 3 though, I hear silverdale is extremely muddy? And Weston coyney has bits of everything, but it's clay not soil so there's more puddles etc? Any thoughts on that anyone?
