Has the engine stop cable jammed somehow? This happens on my 2.25, on my it just about runs but won't rev at all until to you push it in!

After much stress of buying fan belts from shops that say weve checked the reg no on the car and this will fit perfect and it not fitting at all, I have now found, a 10av1050 belt is the right size (10mm wide, 1050mm long) hope this helps someone! (This was on a s3 2.25 diesel)

I've got an 88 (I think the tank may be differnt) but on mine the filler neck is at the top, and I do find it fills slow, also the standard tank is a funny shape and gets an air lock, when you fill it until you can see the diesel, put the filler cap on, shake it from side to side then re open...

Yes dave it was me and cheers for the compliment, not so tidy now, rear quarter is bent and scratched (thank god my dad wasn't bothered!) also my engine bay was COVERED in sh**ty water :/ had a go at cleaning it when I got home, but only quick as I got cold and went inside for a much needed...
