Have you tried just changing the filter and flushing the fluid? The steering in mine's awesome. Nice weight, responsive, accurate.

Oh dear, that looks pretty sad. The lining in my F1 hangs down probably as far as that would if the buttons were taken away. However, the sunroof holds it up in the front so there's no problem. If there are passengers in the back there's no problem either, cos their heads hold it up :D
