I bought universal ones from halfords that consist of a steel perforated strap about 20cm long, a heavy duty flexi join to a 2 bolt clamp that goes round the pipe, does the job perfectly and were under a fiver each Cheers Steve

I kurusted the new hinges and then coated front and back in satin Plastikote, excellent finish but do remember to do the backs or you will end up with rust stains running down your doors after the first shower and have to strip em all back off....... ask me how I know lol.... Cheers Steve

i knew the hid pic would bring out some comments :) yep you need self levelling so when towing you dont blind people ... however i have no intention of ever towing so once set they are set and i also have a good local MOT station.... however its a 2 minute job to fit regular bulbs as the kit...

you only disable the advance if u use the additional black box containing ignition maps, just done my mates mini which uses the same hall effect pickup running through an aldon amethyst box which is mapped to suit, the vacumn advance is plugged and mechanical advance fixed with a blob of weld ...

sorry been away for some time... seals are same both sides .... they need work to fit second row doors though (shortening by cutting out centre) cheers steve

disco r380 will require seat box mods as gearstick arrangement is totally different to a fender box, will take some pics later but on mine the seat box needed mods and the engine is a lot further forward than a 200 tdi, if it was 2" back the gearstick would be getting changed by the rear...

I did mine by fitting engine n box together , bolting box on correct cross member that lines up with 3 of the 4 chassis holes and welding in engine mounts to suit..... originally a v8 so mounts had to be removed as good as it sounded veg oil at 70p a litre won over lol cheers steve

gearbox is in the correct place for a 300 if you use the crossmember so I have fitted a disco 2 double cardon front that fits perfectly (needed double cardon as I have 6 " spring lift) rear prop is 300 110 cheers steve

Well the custom intercooler was crying out to be fitted so one of todays jobs was to plumb in the top mounted cooler on fabricated brackets n see how it all went together....... brackets made n all plumbed in with lots of shiny pipe :) apparently shiny pipe n silicone hose gets you a minimum...
