Take the door card off to see if the window has fouled the locking actuator. The driver's door actuator is the master for the c/l system so would activate the locks on the other doors.

The rev counter works from the alternator, check the connection there. Check fuse No6 in satellite fuse box 2 for the clock. The windows is usually the ecu search on here you will find a repair guide.

Try removing fuse #6 from the satellite box #2. You can then eliminate the tow bar electrics from your search. I realise you have checked the socket but it is quite often the cause.

Scotchbrite if you can get hold of some.

Use new bolts, it's not worth saving a bit of money on someting like that. I've used the composite gasket on mine.
