Simular issue with my bosses old Td5 - turned out to be the yellow relays under the drivers seat. Would drive fine for ages then would just spin over but not fire and temp gauge would shoot to red. Just had to move the yellow relay a little and it would fire up again - although he was too...

Cheers Matt, From reading that thread it looks like I should be investigating the valve guides (asuming Td5's have them??) Or pull the glow plugs and have a gander if any oil is on them. .....the search continues!! Any other suggestions greatly accepted :)

Hi all, In my haste to buy a set of wheels and tyres for my 2002 110 (currently borrowing a set from a friend and he needs them back!) i've picked up a set of alloys and tyres from ebay for £97. I think they are boost alloys or very simular from a 2001 Discovery. Problem is the wheels nuts...
