Side lights and rear lights problems

Just remembered. When I unplugged the dim dip relay the side lights still came on when the ignition switch was turned to position one

Side lights and rear lights problems

Well, I have followed advice and not got very far, the advice was excellent as always, my 90 is the problem! Anyway, I was able to get to try and find the cause of my issue around 3pm today. Before I go too far, first thing I noticed today was that even if I turned the key to the first position...

Side lights and rear lights problems

I will go through the fuses tomorrow and report back with my findings? I will also unplug the harness from the switch to see if there is any difference. Just a quick note I forgot to mention. The lights don't come on straight away they come on about 3 or 4 seconds later and I can here the relay...

Side lights and rear lights problems

Hi guys, I have searched and searched as I always do on this forum, but this time I can't find an answer. Today after starting my 2002 90, I noticed the green lights symbol illuminated on the dash, I got out and found that the side lights and rear lights were on, a little dim but on, I checked...

Freelander refueling keeps tripping at pump

Can't help much myself as does sound like something else. I used to own a 2004 Td4, when I filled up I used to push nozzle all the way on then pull it back out over one bump on the nozzle, then I knew it would fill up with trigger pulled all the way up. Sorry I can't be of more help. No doubt...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Today I have replaced both door seals. I have put silicon between the windscreen rubber and windscreen, hopefully it is now sealed properly and won't leak any more? Yeah right, I can always hope! I also removed the windscreen brakets and rescaled them using silicon. Hopefully these won't leak...

    Chequer plate wing tops

My 90 is black, I have put black chequer plate on bonnet and wing tops, don't see the point in putting more on anywhere else, otherwise where do you draw the line and say enough is enough! Oh, forgot to mention a little plate around filler cap as well, just to tidy up that part.

Which diesel fuel is best for my old 300TDi?

Not got a 300tdi, but. I run my TD5 on Shell or ESSO with a fuel additive. If I forget to fill up when I'm out then I use the local Gulf fuel also with a fuel additive. All three seem to be good for mine! I refuse to use supermarket fuel after experiencing the problems it caused when I had a...

What have you done to your Landie today.

Today I took my teenager for her MOT! Ended up better than expected, just needed a new track rod end on nearside and a top mount bush on rear nearside suspension. Only one advisory, limited adjustment left on handbrake lever.

    Earth point locations

Can't help with that one. However, me, I would use a small screwdriver and slowly prise it apart, probably the wrong way to do it though!

    Earth point locations

Just found the diagram I used.

    Earth point locations

There should be an earth point behind the engine on the bulkhead on the drivers side, possibly the cause of the problem.

Side window de mister for £6

K14, that is genius, so much so that I bought some flexi pipe and connectors and have done the same on my TD5, was a slight difference with how I had to run the tubing but generally the same. The way it is done, the vents for the side windows blow out air wether set up for just the windscreen or...

    Alternatives to a new Defender?

+1, I like the look of the G Wagon. Defender always comes first, then if nothing else left would have to be a G Wagon!

    Roof mounted aerial....

If I remember correctly, you remove the interior light and you should see the nut or bolt that holds it in place!

Advice please is this a scam??

Hopefully you only gave him the green part of the log book and have sent the rest to delay yourself, that way he doesn't have a leg to stand on!
