do you mean turn key to number 2, and change the alternator with battery connected?

i do but the guy is off on holliday the now so cant go there. Also my central locking has gone, its the drivers side latch thats away so thinking the eka code entry might not work. Can i not just insulate the live wire away so no contact can occur? Wrap it in a rag etc?

i sure did j. Will i fry myself if i leave the battery connected?

push the CC button next to the hazard switch and then go to desired speed then puch the button on the lower left hand side of the steering wheel the high to low or low to high does that. You have to select neutral for it to changed over. not broken so you're ok mate
