Help! Need to find LR parts supplier thats open tomorrow! (north west)

I'm desperately after a front axle oil seal (ft3276 I think) for my disco but need it tomorrow as back to work Monday! Does anyone know of an LR parts supplier/bearing shop/car factor ideally in the chester area, or have a spare seal they are willing to sell me? I currently have the car...

    Front brake covers

Hi, after getting stuck in some deep mud the disco has been making a loud noise from the front wheels, increasing with speed (not revs). It drove surprisingly well for my 300mile return trip other than the noise, last night I filled up the front diff oil and replace front hub bearings. It...

    rear brakes

I've noticed for some time that my brakes cause the disco to steer slightly left, had both rear wheels off today to change the shocks and noticed that the offside disc is rusty so obviously not working properly. Any suggestions? I have an EZ bleed kit thinking of checking for air in the system...

Quick help needed - engine hoist brackets

Yep correct, thanks I sorted it in the end was a glow plug lead shorting on the head. Managed to set light to the loom and start a fire so worth watching out for.. Disco back up and running now, had a bit of fun took it out for a spin without bonnet. I certainly don't fancy pulling that engine...

Quick help needed - engine hoist brackets

Thanks, this helps a lot. Ive just found that the official part #s are etc8031 and etc8036 but not sure I will find anywhere that would deliver them by next day. You wouldnt happen to know what the distance is between the holes on the rear offside corner - is it the same as the front?

Quick help needed - engine hoist brackets

O really, I didn't realise that. Any idea what thread size the bolts need to be? And presumably they need to be high tensile? Any other way around this other than wrapping a sling around the sump? I dont fancy the idea of that.. Thanks

Quick help needed - engine hoist brackets

I need to make some brackets up tomorrow as have booked Friday off work to lift the engine and replace the rear core plugs. Hope someone can give me some quick advice - as I understand I should lift from the offside rear head bolt (nearest the bulkhead) as pictured here: Is this correct? And...

    rear core plug

Its been a while, 3 and a half months of trouble free motoring in fact(!) but I think the much dreaded time has come to fit new core plugs to the rear of the block/head. Im losing coolant which is running down the outside of the bell housing, over the last couple of years ive had to replace...
