Many thanks for the suggestion sounds like a bit of a saturday coming up. Went to LR parts department to find the suggested manifold temp sender but the parts chap said which one as ther seems to be 6 different temp sensers on the top of the engine???? So back to trying to find out which one...

Recently got my P38 and had a spare key but was dead. Put in new batteries but won't open locks even though the light on the key flahse as does the light on the dash.Bright ideas appreciated Will

I've seen suggestions that as my 4.6 HSE is a poor starter with no rapid idle and even when warmed up a poor idle i should replace the inlet manifold temp. sender befor changing the air flow meter. Anyone know the part no for the Temp. sender?

Hi I have found the disabling routine, but I'm one of those people who can't stand something not working. I'm going to take the mirror apart and see what can be done even if i only get the side to side working.Cheers

Hi Many thanks for responce. No not done anything yet. I will now investigate the innards of the mirrors and see what i find. Give all a good clean, check wires etc. and spray with water repellent. I assume the glass can be removed to get at motors inside?

Next Passenger door mirror will go up and down but not side to side? The automatic reverse dipping works on drivers side but when out of reverse only goes back up partially and I have to the readjust. Are the two problems linked?

Cruise control has decided not to work. Was working last week on way from Cornwall then stopped when car left over night. Switch on dash lights up but pressing set on steering wheel does nothing. Any thoughts would be of help.
