P38 THOR V8 Air suspension schematics

More likely the opposite airbag lifted a bit with whatever air was left in it. There's no crosslink valves on a P38. All four airlines go directly to the valve block. There's a known issue caused by leaking exhaust that melts the rear lines, but if you can raise the car on the schrader...

I do also wonder, if the diffs are that rusty, what are sills & arches like under all the plastic bits !!

    Valve Block rebuild

Sounds like the ECU is forgetting what height you last set it to. With the height lock switch on, it should remain at the last height after switch off & when switching on & starting. Does it have the standard timer relay or the 4-pin fudge to prevent self-leveling ? FYI I found a bug in the...

Time we opened a book on this. My odds on anyone on LZ knowing the answer to this exact question..... 1000 to 1. I reckon 157,213 to 1 assuming only one member knows the answer, and the OP will know one day. Or should that be 157,214 to 2 ❓

Yes we like comment from each other even it's not all correct, but it does lead us to try different things. Topics frequently go off-topic but we simply accept it. As you noticed this forum contains much banter, scarcasm & information (some good, some bad & some guesses) - deal with it or go...

All I can say is JFDI and report back. We all now know it’s not about fuel economy. Nuff said & I say again JFDI.

    P38A Tuning the 4.0 thor

Personally I would like to have LPG easily available as one of my P38's came with it installed. There's far few places these day where it's available, plus whoever originally installed mine either never got the certification or it got lost between owners. I'm still gonna get it working one...

This is getting fun. Maybe the op will give up & try elsewhere, or actually do it & present the results ???? Maybe the diffs will fit or not . . . .who knows ? Will the engine last longer . . . .who knows ? Will many of us buy an L322 that rusts quicker than an old Alfa (and LR hide behind...

P38A GEMS signal for ok to start.

It can’t roll that much. When out of sync Nanocom or testbook puts GEMS into learning mode. It then learns next code from BECM. If it rolls it can only go from 1 to 65534. FFFF or 65535 tells GEMS to go into ignore mode. Either the F-out module or Nanocom experiment is the way to go to get...

Btw don’t buy a CR-Max on Amazon. Lots of fakes. I’m in Langley near Heathrow. Not CIA.

    Gap tool near Luton Airport

I have the Icarsoft CR-Max which apparently uses the same SW as the V3 Land Rover Version, but covers all most cars. Never tried it on an L322 though cos I aint got one. Works well on my Merc C180 & both Freelanders. For my P38's it shows BECM, EAS, HEVAC, etc in the menus but always fails...

BTW, just for a laugh, I googled the amount of energy required. Surely burning that amy energy in petrol is gonna put the same strain or wear on the engine regardless of rpm. . . . . .but I'm not the right scientist
