There does seem a huge range in prices for 90's and I have a mate who has one already converted to a 200 tdi so I could use his as a model. I think the bloke is going to patch the bulkhead and I can always practise my welding at a later date. lol

Just reading this post with interest. Got the offer of a motorbike rack. I have an XR 600 which ways in at 134kgs. Would this be too much of a load over the back of a Discovery 2? I know the trailer may be a better option, but the cost, storage etc. of one precludes this option.

Turned out to be just the bottle where the plastic foot locates, so we seem water tight now. A bit odd though, pulled the bonnet this morning and the top radiator hose had suck itself in. Seemed alright after I released pressure on the expansion bottle cap. Air lock?

Thanks for the info mate. Very helpful. Having changed my filters today, I'm surprised any air was getting past the air filter, let alone needing to blank off the EGR. Lol. Shocking state. If only people did the basics. So much better for longevity

EGR blank was going to be my first mod. Can you tell the difference even on the autos? MAP and MAF sensors. Don't even know what they are let alone where they are. Lol. Will have to get mulling over the workshop manual.
