Hi, its a very straight forwar convertion, as you allready have a s111 lump in, it will fit the gaerbox. you will have to move the batery to under the seat, and do a small amount of wireing

engine will be no problem. the garbox will fit but you will have to fit the axils as well and mess about with the mountings and propshafts, what do you want for the old engine? i have a s1 and a few spares are allways handy

allthough the powers that be whan you to belive otherwise, only a very small number of accidents are caused by poor workmaship on cars, yes it does happen but not often, a landy is one of the best cars to work on for the ameture, and as long as he/she uses common sense and a good book there...

yea at least 10 secs up to 30 in winter, but NO THROTAL AT ALL UNTILL IT FIRES there is a cold start device in the pump that will only work at idle

i would go for a faultiy injector, try undoing the pipes one at a time when running an see if the knok goes, if an injector is "driblling" it will sound like a big end

you do not need to fit new bolts, this was never done until the aloy heads came in, this is a fiftys motor just fit a new gasget

You may be being a bit quick of the mark here, a dribling injector will cause a noise like a big end gone and black smoke, run the enjine untill it happens the slaken the injector pipes in turn and see if the noise stops,

s111 will have a pump in the block, they sufer from broken vanes, take the three bolts off and have a look

it will not go onto the bell housing, you will need to change that for a s11 one or the whole gearbox you will have to mess with the hoses and throtal links, why not go for the right petrol engine? they do turn up on ebay, will do as mutch to the gall as a 2.2d and is a far better engine

what gas do you all use for your mig? i allways used pub gas but now the baste*s have put nitro in as well and it dont work, proper gas is just too expencive, i have been toying with with making a co2 generator along the lines of the old acetaline lamps, any one tride this?
