hi guys I tried going to 4wd hi 4th gear but still can't get it out as the crankshaft turns slightly with the nut.like a flex/spring.is there a way to lock the crankshaft?
the nut shown is where the starter dog should be.so i have to remove it.in the 2nd pic i found there is this hole at the rear of the crankshaft, which i think is where the flywheel is.isit possible to put a screwdriver in it and somehow it will lock the flywheel? its a diesel btw
hmm but where should i aim the impact driver at? since its one big nut!but in the mean time i will try 4wd high with bricks on all wheels =]. is there a way to stop the flywheel by putting a screwdriver somewhere?read that its possible to do that as well
hi guys how do i stop the crankshaft from moving so i can remove and fit a new starter dog? now everytime i turn the shaft will move along.i also tried engaging gears and putting bricks behind the truck to stop it from moving but that wasnt very effective either. any ideas? i really want to hand...
im also looking to flush the gearbox oil and i noticed there were 2 drain plugs underneath the middle of the truck one was for the gearbox and one for the transfer box if im not wrong. however i only see a fill plug for the gearbox(the one nearer to the front of the truck).where is the fill plug...
ok guys i found the fill plug it was on the other side of the diff!and i noticed that the front diff had a fill plug near the shaft and one more square one facing the front.so it actually has 2 fill plugs?
thats the problem!i was looking for the square filler plug like the one on the side of the front diff.but on the back diff there wasnt a filler plug!only a breather plug and drain plug.i looked at the manual and they didnt specify either =(
hi guys i was changing the trans fluid on the rear diff and i realized there wasnt a magnetic plug.the square plug that appears on the front diff and underneath the gear box.so i filled it via the filler plug which was right on top on the axle and the hole was really small.filled about 2 litres...
to fill the gear box and trasnfer box i access the the hole by taking out the rubber cover under the gear stick right? ep90 as well? is there a need to actually change the oils/fluids?
Hi guys i intend to flush the rear diff, front diff and centre gears, any idea how much transsmission fluid i have to buy? also, other than the brake fluid and engine oil, and other fluids or oils i can replace?
hi guys now im trying to fix the wiper motor on my 2a. i have tested that the wire work with a multi tester so the problem is in the motor.i took out everything and manually held the 2 graphite brushes against the main armature however it does not spin =( . the solenoid at the bottom...
