im considering replaceing my lucas modual with a balast resieter and a 2 pin amp, but like you cant find info for wires, been told to look at one fitted coz plugs are shaped ,and then go off wire colour . is the third pin for rev counter.

look at your carb diaphragms they work on vacume to give more fuel ,

you can take out your plugs and check them with some jump leads, put earth on main thread and pos on terminal then onto battay, should glow red more or less staight away . all the main feed wires should be isorlated from earth, the tel tall light wont be on the plug circuit it will be off a...

a good sparky would put in a manual switch in to get the vehicle mobile until you sort problem, the ecu is only pulling in a relay going on engine temp. if this has been said sorry didnt see original thread
