are we taking unstable idle or revs droping when put in gear at ide (loading the engine) the engine needs to know its in gear to compenste the load:beer2::beer2:

just read your post again , you say it dont make any noise when trying for a gear, that rules out clutch drag and probably shafts moving. check your gearleaver and were it gos into box it may be split :blabla:

long shot but i had probs with an old rang rover loosing its pedle,some dude told me to replace the cluth push rod which didnt come with the cylinder, took it out it was worn put in new one sorted, like i said long shot:behindsofa:
