    Check your brake light switch very common fault with these freelanders, just done mine after noticing the same lights were coming on when i pressed the brake pedal. Don't worry too much about it as it will defo get you to Scotland and back without to much trouble

    Service history shows that the anti rollbar bushes were replaced at the end of may 2012 also shows the diff mounts were replaced in 2011 (all 3) but will check just incase cheers

    Managed to get the use of a mates lift so i have decided to do a bit of oil service to my freelander. I was thinking engine oil & filter ,diff oil, IRD oil and gearbox oil I also have the use of one of those sucking machines to suck the oil out of the diff and ird to make things easier for me...

    Just started to happen today.... when driving around at a steady 60mph and then take my foot of the gas pedal i get 2 lights flash up on the dashboard 1. looks likea gearbox cog with the letters TC in the middle (traction control maybe???) the second light looks like a car going down hill...

    Happy after MOT

    pleased to report my freelander sailed through it's MOT today with only 2 advisories 1. minor gas leak on rear exhaust back box, arranged for a new one to be fitted tomorrow (£60 inc. fitting) 2. Park brake only just met the leagal requirements also having this done tomorrow at the same garage...
