I've got a 200amp stick welder, it should have a 16amp plug but the 13amp is okay unless you wind it up past 150. When I need more amps I run a heavy extension lead from the back of the cooker :D To weld 4mm plate you can use 2.5 rods , just build it up with a few runs.

I'd replace wheel bearings, while it's stripped down .

The 300 turbo will give you all the boost the engine will stand, unless you uprate pistons etc.

I fitted a 300 box into a 200 It's a straight swap .

Maybe it just likes the cooler air Even after it's been through the turbo, the air must be cooler than when the engine is up to full working temp, even though alot of the heat is from it being forced in.

If I was you I'd replace the valve guide seals, now the heads off.

Best check with Rik (90boy) , to make sure those lanes are included this time I should think they will be as one was a good axle twister .

Think the dog should be okay, might be worth checking with the campsite though Just have to mind the bbq :D There's a couple of lanes where the roof tent might be a problem, had to take topcat's roof rack off last time .

Terrafirma springs are 10mm longer for the drivers side It seems enough to make the disco sit level at the front .

Thicker coils on back. Depends on the make if they are handed or not, put them together if 2 are taller fit them to the drivers side .

What ply are the sidewalls ? I've got kumho's, good grip but only 2 ply sidewalls, that are very soft. Last time out put a rock through one and another looks like it's fell out with jack the fookin ripper. Can't make me mind up what to go for next.

All primer needs a good key before the top coat , should be okay with two pack though as it seems to have a bit more bite. Well it used to, been a few years since I used it dunno if it's the same stuff.
