Ok thanks. I have wired the coil as per the diagram but can't get a 12v reading on the coil with ignition on. The amp doesn't seem to be earthing?!

There's a spare in the back of the truck. Must be oil filled as it sounds like liquid inside. It got warm when I plugged it in though. Is there a specific coil I should be looking for to buy? Or will awt do? FYI there is no resistor. Not sure if that's needed or not.

Cheers boys, Gearbox crossmember is one of them tubular ones (appears bolted on) Ill lob em off and tack em on and see how she fits. I can weld better than mr pigeon ****. but a mate is a fabricator so could get him to.
