sent mine back and got the new switch ie> push in one light on or off. i understand that when light is off its eco mode is this right?

i know the feeling had a lot of trouble and costs with my freelander clutch gearbox out three times in less than 2 years. solved the problem got shot of it and bought a td4 auto wish id done it from the start.

what a great web site seems my td4 auto should be doing about 36mpg will have to look into this as im getting low 30s on a long run.

it is possible to hitch up if you are dead straght on to caravan. you can buy the short adaptor i got one cheap at a caravan market, but just taking the long arm off and pushing down on the two exposed arms works just as well.

the lead used has a connection for the kh one end but the other end has to be compatable with the head unit you get so there could be quite a few i suppose.

Hi The cd player wont work as this is controlled by the radio but if u got a ipod who wants 6 cds,the steering wheel controls work with a extra connection. No i did not use halfords i found a great specialist who knew what he was doing and made a good tidy job.

i had a alpine radio fitted last week in my hse with parrot/ bluetooth. The fitted had to get a extra wire to fit it to the harmon kardon. works well but wire was £30. the sat nav was crap so did not worry about loosing it.

looking in engine bay i noticed that the hose at rear top running near the brake servo is sort of flat? has this collapsed or is it normal please.

look inside glove box there should be a sticker just inside with the radio code the last 5 numbers i think.

43mpg in a auto sounds amazing lucky to get 30mpg on my td4 auto. what mpg were you getting before you fitted the synergy.

Found it got the wire in ok and got it all running. cleaned out the egr also today what a mess inside, gonna fir the bypass in morning once the egr has dried out. no havent changed the maf yet is it worth it and how easy is it to do ?

funny thing my insurance co insured my last freelander td4 manual with this synergy fitted no problem. When i informed them i changed my car for another freelander (auto) with the synergy fitted they said they will not insure it cos its not a modification fitted by a company. so am looking...

is that the grommet by the break servo somewhere u mentioned in another thred ??
