Spray over the sensor window with matt silver paint. If done carefully wiv a bot of masking tape,from a distance as they drive by, it wont look tampered with. With the film ones, eventually they suss when they come round to change the roll, but with the digi one, it may tale them weeks as thye...

Depends if it's a daily hack as well as a weekend toy, but personally i'm with ratty, a Def / 90 sort of looks 'comfortable' with a few dings etc, but if was for daily commuting etc as well as a plaything, then the disco would be the choice, simply because it won't leak, will be warm in winter.

Was it a long walk up to the owners /dealers house from the roadway?

Just a thought guys, no good to me as I dun have a D, but why dont you buy your oil form the local chippy, get him to get you and extra drum (25l i think is the size) and you pay him. Dunno the costs, but if he makes a little on it and as a trader can get it cheaper in th first place.....it may...

Oh I thought very long and hard about it, but it was a company car, on their insurance and still had to live in the area at the time, not the nicest of places, crack house up the steet etc, one of the reasons why we moved out to the green and pleasant areas

The fab wheels weren't the p[roblem. The problem was the local tea leafs and teh fact that fprd locking wheel nuts only come in 12 varieties, once you get a full set you can remove any wheel. They hit a few of teh nicer fords in the are, the lady up the road got done TWICE when they came back to...
