    I'm pretty sure the brake pads were the same on mine, so I would imagine the calipers are too. Sorry to hear about your bike crash too, it's never nice coming off, even more so when there's a lorry involved.

    Got an L322 and I really want to do some laning, but am a bit worried about the paintwork, can anyone reccomend any lanes that arn't very close with bushes and trees, not worried about mud etc just don't want to damage the paint.

    Its yer Alternator mate! Thats £1200 plus vat!

    Alternator is no more than £490 as I've just paid this for one from Eurocarparts, you also get a £100 service charge of that back when you return the old one as it's an exchange part, about 2 hours labour more or less.Their talking utter crap, I would take it somewhere else.

    I hope it keeps its looks, it would just ruin what the Defender is about if it looks different. Shouldnt LR be seriously thinking about a Range Rover replacement now too?,different lights and a new engine(2010) doesn't really cut it as a new model.

    just wondered what other LR or even non LR wheels can you put on an L322 may help being a little smaller too, i want a different set so i can leave the 19' Vouge wheels with standard road biased tyres on then quickly swap a set over for going green laning, has anyone else done this?, any help...
