I have to say as a ex freelandy owner i loved mine, ok i did'nt live up to my disco, but i got i a fair few lanes done in it unmodified, and mine was an early s reg 1.8, and the head gasket never went either, fantastic at towing my wobbly box, dare i addmit i found it better at this than my disco...

Wrong the last pic is the second lane if you follow the route up into the forest where a lot of felling has been done, i had to cut my way up this one as there was a lot of fallen trees on that bit, hard work on your own all day..

sorry to disapoint you paul, my disco windows made it through intact, mind you i had to go nice and easy and lean on some trees with the side slope and mud.. like i said i don;t often do TOR roadbooks as i find them a bit dull but this one was worth doing...

Have you tried poping out the badge and working some grease into the handle workings that sorted mine, and i did have to put a spring on the workings to stop the lock droping..
