other than that look out for someone responsible leading a trip and get yourself out there with them, you may find joining GLASS helpful and there data base is helpful to newbies and regulars alike for lane resserch, other than that get maps and study them, plan a possible route and then contact...

afraid so CBs are not as they used to be, nowadays the only people you get on them is farmers truckers and off-roader and the odd QSL brigade, but still a handy bit of kit once yougot it working proper and you dont break the ariel ever time you go laning...

why would this only occur off-road or high speed conering then, surely it would allways happen then..

so you reakon it's still a bearing prob again then with poss warn hubs then, i had new hubs abt 2 yr ago fitted by bg landrovers in monmouth and it was big bucks..

come on now stigo you know me better than that, genuine landy discs and apex pads. bearings the garage got...

round in circles, had all new bearings front and rear, and discs and pads allround, this is getting stupid on the bearings lost count on the sets now fitted and never seams to get any better...

so whats gonna cure it then, i'm used to it but jaynes not to happy off-roading it. gets a bit arse twitchy now and again...

yeah you remember that time after i had bearings done and they left em slack its kinda like that again, but i've had bearings done again and again by various garages...

somebody out there most know whats causing this, as it gets a bit nervey sometimes...

and equally don't use wd4o as that breaks down the grease thats inside....

cant say mine does never seen the lights or the gubbins under the bonnet

had a similar prob on my 300tdi till one day the barrel locked solid and i had to break the bugger to get home, sorted it with a new barrel for £34 from my local private landy workshop, seems to be as they wear the springs fail to let the leaf drop into place.

Right then folks help needed... whilst off-roading i find that my brake pedal will sometimes go to the floor, i have had this prob before with bearings but despite fitting new ones the problem still persists allthough not as bad or as much, just that sometimes when i hit the pedal it goes...
