i've just named my new series 3 project Mickey for the very same reason, although i found mine behind the clocks. surprisingly no wire have been chewed through.

could be, there made of ally and flat on the side you can't see

they were just a mixture of all land rover parts from series 2/3 to L322

forgot to add, they are 1.5" OD and 1" ID and sit about 5/16" tall

these were in a job lot of parts i bought, i took what i needed these were left, anyone know what they are? i was thinking along the lines of valve spring seats, but that is a complete guess.

Jumped in a friends defender before, its a 200tdi with the lt77 box, when the clutch is depressed a sqeeking noise starts, and remains until the pedal is released, i think its the clutch release bearing, what do you guys think? All suggestions appreciated.

i found a nice 3/8 snap-on ratchet and extension behind the drivers seat of my 90, in decent condition, and a mighty fine south american panpipe CD.

i need to replace the two rear panels and lights on the back of my defender 90 the ones either side of the door, i have an old series 3 tub lying around, could i use the lights and panels off that, or is there a reason LR moved the lights? a change of law or something? thanks in advance.
