i split the roof at the seam by drilling out the spot welds. then rejoined and overlapped chopped sides. i used the chequer plate because it was a county back with windows so there was a gap between the sides. mine cost me £ 20 so am happy

Yes i used my little clarke mig the disco exhaust was fairly thick walled so was easy enough to weld. looks well v8 disco!. So thats straight through now? With a nice v8 burble.

well when i first made it it was straight thru but was too loud. used the back box to silence
