I got a set of four General grabber AT little while ago. Local tyre company did them for £540. Despite having an aggressive tread, they make little noise. Appear to work well in mud (i've tried) and good on road.

Check the cabin filter too. My previous Ford Transit kept fogging up and found the cabin filter was the culprit (van is maintained by a company and were shaving money).

How odd. My old Calibra turbo was really noisy. In 6th gear, the noise was terrible but that was a full Skorpion ss exhaust inc decat.

What does it sound like with a stainless exhaust? Im tinkering with an idea with replacing mine with ss but i know from my turbo nutter b*stard days, they're quite noisy. I dont mind a little bit of noise but not a howl.

Yesterday, a friend fitted the set of mud flaps to my Freelander 2. Took three week for them to arrive from China and got held up in customs for several days but im happy with the look. They look ok and cheap at £29 all in.

Ok, goes from bad to worse. Wiggled the glovebox out, broke a plastic clip which it attaches to the inner dashboard and after all that-no fusebox. :( Problem for me, is im recovering from a stroke and my hands do not do what i want them to. Just fed up with all this.
