Do what i did and clamp the rubber hose on the clutch line. If you get no pressure then change the M/C first thats wot im doin

Right finally got under the bonnet of me landy and clamped off the hose to the slave cylinder and still got no pressure against the pedal, does the collective think that this would indicate a master cylinder problem rather than anythin else further down the line :confused:

Just been out and checked the pedal and cant see any signs, Never changed the slave cylinder before but hear horror stories about the clip on the clutch fork coming off then having to remove the gearbox!!! How bad can it be????

You gotta love the mans diplomacy!!! :D:D But he is 100% right, use the right wire and the correct fookin fuse!!!! Have you ever seen how long it takes for a wiring loom to go from fine to completly fooked because a higher amp fuse has been put in, trust me it aint long, I reckon about 1-2...

Should I expect from me vacumn pump? Problem is my brake pedal comes and goes a bit, when you start up in the morning the pedal is long but after you drive it for a bit the pedal comes back to normal but drive it and use the brakes alot and the pedal goes long again so i suspected me vacumn...

Some aircon systems will not kick in if the ambient temp outside is too low ( i know bmw's wouldnt work below 5 degrees) which confuses the hell out of the owners who dont know about these things, might be worth checking out the operating specs on the a/con before you go ripping it to bits. JMHO

Chipping refers to the reprogramming of the ECU to boost fuel pressures and turbo activation, the only way to tell is if you get a main stealer to look at the ECU and they should be able to identify if it has or not been chipped or modified. If it has they could say it invalidates any warranty...

Think its 44 degrees on a bog standard 90 or 110

The fuses might look fine but check them for continuity with a meter if you got one
