When i turn steering wheel i hear a knock, i thought it was worn ujs on steering column but after giving everything the once over it seems to be comming from under the plastic cowling under steering wheel, when i turn wheel something is hitting the cowling, any ideas whats making noise? I will...

ive got play on both ujs and can hear then creaking and moaning when manouvering at slow speeds

Will play in steering column ujs make steering shudder when hitting bumps etc?

Open bonnet rev engine and watch for hoses collapsing under load

Check turbo hoses are not collapsing, i had same issues and ended up an easy fix

Tried to clear windscreen on Saturday, wipers stopped vertical position, ive disconnected the new lucas motor from the linkage and tried it out withno issues Thing is the linkage seems to be jammed solid Any ideas why? Im hoping the dash gets to stay on for fix
