    rover ron

I found my Synergy to be a piece of cake to fit (takes about 10 minutes altho' if you're getting the dash mount switch, routing the cable can be a pain....). It works really well and makes my own TD4 a much more 'driveable' vehicle in terms of engine responsiveness. I'm insured with the RAC and...

    TD4 remapping

I've had the Roverron box for a while now and personnally find it has advantages over a remap. The box itself is dead easy to fit and can be transferred to another vehicle if required. Mine has given up a good 5 to 8 mpg gain (on a manual TD4) when set on a sensible number (6) and doesn't run...

    Driving lights problem

Hiya, the wiring is rated at 30A and 200 watts according to the Land Rover info I've looked at, so should be o.k. (famous last words of course........!) So far so good but probably will have to sell the car anyway and buy a boat given the weather here in Oxfordshire over the past couple of...

    Driving lights problem

All sorted I'm pleased to say. In-line 15A fuse had blown which was well hidden away below the light relay. Will uprate the fuse to a 20A to take the new 130 Watt rally bulbs methinks! cheers, Steve

    Driving lights problem

Hi Dutch, I'm afraid I've looked at all of the fuse diagrams in both the RAVE CD and the vehicle handbook, none of them show which fuse feeds the dealer fit driving lights. Not keen on buying a test meter before a simple fuse check but I do get your point. Anyone else have any good ideas...

    Driving lights problem

No sadly none of the bulbs, old or new now work. This is what leads me to suspect it's a fuse or current supply problem... Steve

    Driving lights problem

Wonder if someone can help me with this? I have a 2006 TD4 Freelander with a set of the pod-style driving lamps fiited by the dealer which work only through the main beam as designed. Yesterday I fitted a new set of H3 bulbs to the lamps ( a real pain as the light has to be almost totally...

    I Love My Freelander But!!!!

My 06 plate freelander has now done 28,000 miles and I've had 2 problems with it so far. It took my local Stratstones 3 attempts to sort out a nasty suspension knock and then a non starting episode was resolved with a new (front) fuel pump. My power isssues were resolved with both a Mafam...

    Looking for an easy route......?!

Hi all, looking for some knowlegeable help please....:) I've got a 2006 TD4 to which I've fitted one of Roverrons fine Synergy modules. At the same time I purchased a dash switch to enable the unit to be controlled from inside the truck in question. Does anyone know of a relatively easy and...

    Help with Maf bolts please...?!

Thanks for the rapid reply. I fear the bolts I'm on about are not quite the same thing. The bolts on the MAF sensor are five pointed (not 6 as in normal Torx) and also have a central pin. None of my torx or security fiitings tools will work. Still stumped I'm afraid....!

    Help with Maf bolts please...?!

Hi all, just picked up a genuine new roverron MAFAM MF75p off of fleabay for a scarily good price (£27 inc postage). Fitted the MAFAM on my 2006 TD4 with no problems but I still suspect the MAF is out of spec due to the heart stopping lack of grunt when pulling on to a roundabout in 1st...
